Rabbit VS. Snake

sapphire_snake Apr 29, 2005 12:25 AM

I go to another site where this guy says it is (well basicly) impossible for a rabbit to injure a snake. That there is no way a rabbit could hurt/kill a snake, no matter what.

that if you were to put a live rabbit in with a snake and left it there then nothing would happen.

If anyone has any thoughts or even better, pictures on this then it would be great.

The person who said that is quite ignorant and needs to not spread outright false statements like that.. A live rabbit can gut a snake with their back legs.

I agree with Randy. When I bred rabbits I always got tore up when handeling them, my dad bred them for awile and got bit sereral times by one of the females and it was not pretty. I would have no doubt that a rabbit could kill a snake, a rabbits first instinct is to run but when it is in a cage with a snake it must defend itself.

Of course a rabbit can be dangerous, I mean look at the rabbit on Monty Pythons Holy Grail. They are monsters with big teeth!!!
