I was wondering if Yellowbwllies have the yellow coloration on their belly from hatching, or if their bellies look normal at first, and gradually turn yellow as they shed...?

Most Yellow Bellies are born with yellow bellies and then as they mature it turns white. Some keep it for a while into sub-adult hood. Hope this helps.

Mike: Are you sure that's not a calico?
I'm just as much novice as Cindy-Sue over there. I don't know much. Just looks like a calico from this side.
