Looks like a black rat to me, too. The ventrals seem to have the ratsnake "crease" to them. Before I clicked the link I thought maybe it was the "snake caught in the computer fan" photo, which looks very much like an indigo (or a racer, but I'm not sure whether black racers ever exhibit red on their chins).

My guess is that it's a racer, the belly doesnt look white enough.
Also that "Snake in the computer fan" is an Australian Red Bellied snake, venomous.
