Water Bath Size for Rainbow Boas?

For an 18" long baby Rainbow Boa (Brazilian/Peruvian), how large a container of water should be provided? Should they be given something they can "stretch out" in, or something smaller that they can curl up in and feel like they're in tighter quarters?
