I have heard that crested geckos are sexable at about 4-6 months, but what if you are looking juvenile/sub-adult that the age is unknown? At approximately what size are the males when the bulges first appear?

most people go by weight. i'll try to measure some of mine that just started to show signs. but a weight would be 15-20 grams. some may show a little bit earlier than that. but if you haven't looked at very many cresteds before to sex them then 15-20 is a pretty good range. i would say by 20 g. you should know for sure ( as always, ofcourse there's exceptions
