moving to Canada

Hi.
I am considering taking a job in Calgary, Alberta. I am a U.S. citizen and currently live in Madison, WI. I have two turtles (male RES and female painted). If I accept the job I would like to take my turtles with me to Canada. Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge about bringing turtles into Canada? I imagine I would need a permit, but am not sure where to begin. Thank you in advance for any information.

Check out www.canada.gc.ca/depts/major/depind_e.html. There is a link there for Canadian Wildlife Services but I was unable to open it.

To get an international permit you can go to The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. They'll tell you the ports of entry and the restrictions, etc.
