good medium sized boa or python 6-10 feet

eatinmachine Apr 30, 2005 08:45 PM

I know it is commonly asked but I couldn't find one. I want a larger boa or python but don't know what I want. I want something that will end up 6-10 feet 10 feet being maxed out. caging not a prob. doesn't have to be beginner but not advanced. And it would help if you told what they eat as adults.
thanks josh

My favorites.
BCI, BCC, Argentines, Dumerils, Maddy boas..........
My first choice will always be a BCI. They are the best all around as far as care and temperment.
Argentines rule as well!

NO BEAUTY LIKE THE BEAUTY OF A TRUE REDTAIL !!

just a common run of the mill beauty... Redtails are great beginner animals, they will eat retired breeder rats(sometimes more than one a sitting) as adult. They have good temperments, and come in a wide array of colors. I would say there is the most information out about these guys and they are common just about anywhere. If you would like it to stay on the smaller size of 7 feet i would suggest getting a male. But you wont go wrong with any of the suggestions given....

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind
