This mini-drought here in SC TX is really putting a damper on the pavement patrol! I've seen a few DOR atrox, garters, 1 micrurus and a splendida. Here she is eating a semi-DOR atrox (back half run over). I can't believe how calm and slow this snake is (she will sit on my shoulders or desk without trying to get away), yet as soon as she detects food, look out! Not too great of a picture but you can see how she immediately wrapped around the atrox with gusto...
