eatinmachine May 01, 2005 09:38 AM

do these work for adult boas that get like 6-10'?I have a 3'x1.5'x2'tall cage I know this couldn't house a adult but what if I put in a second level? and would I heat the second level too? There would be a larger area to get up than most It would be about 12"by18" to get up to it would this work?
Thnks in advance josh

I wouldnt think that an adult boa would be happy in those conditions. They need ground space. I would suggest that you make/purchase a 4x2x2 foot tank, if you are thinking about a boa. And then i would suggest that you purchase a male, they have a tendancy to stay smaller in size and that cage would do them good for their whole life. Some females will do fine in cages that size but there are other that just grow and grow and grow...Anyways i would think that would be the easiest best way to go for you and your new animals. Hope to see some building pictures soon.....Good luck
