Are my indigo sex addicts?

nazza May 01, 2005 02:25 PM

Today for pure chance (and under strict control) I put the male in the female cage for cleaning and after 15 seconds they started to move jerkily and crossed the tails. Immediately I separated them.
This is the first time they were togheter after november, so I don't know if they are really sex addicts or if was a coincidence.
There are records of breeding in this months in the wild? Is possible that indigo have double clutch?
best regards
nazzza

The only wild records for breeding occur between September and I believe February.

Of course, perhaps in Italy with different light cycles, the snakes could get "confused". I have never heard of a double clutch in indigos.

Some males (like human males) will try to breed whenever they see a female.

You haven't been giving them wine with their meals have you?
We know how you Italians are!

Sure that I give wine....
How would be possible to eat a good chicken dish or delicious rats on the spit without a vintage bottle of red wine Aglianico?
And how do you think a "little" indigo could eat fish without his precious white wine Falanghina?
But, for their romantic nights, my indigos have french preferences: in November they can consumate their love only after strawberries and champagne
Best regards

I heard that "Screech" was the Newfie beverage of choice for reptiles.
