Did my bull snake eat his shed or ....

did I just throw it away sandwiched between the paper layers? His eyes were cloudy two weeks ago so I know he shed, I just can't find it. He goes under the newspaper a lot, but never have I seen him go between the layers. What are the chances he ate it, and if he did, how bad would that be? He seems fine.

However, out of all the snakes out there, I've only heard of ONE case of a snake eating his shed. It's likely you just overlooked it between the paper layers. Also, snakes' eyes clear up before they're about to shed so there's a chance he will shed soon. Also, two weeks is kind of a long time for a snake's eyes to clear up before shedding...but it happens. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it too much. On the -very- slim offchance he did eat his shed, it won't harm him at all.
