peru or colombia

I'm looking to buy a snake in the near future. At first I was looking into the python realm but then people started telling me about how inactive some of them tend to be. I decided I would look into Boas. Ive now narrowed it down to the Peruvian or Colombian species of Boa. Can someone tell me about the similarities and differences of these two species.

Pervian and Columbian Similarities-
Food Intake, heating, caging, basic care needs, approximate size (although Peruvians can get 10-12 feet i believe)

Pervian and Columbian Differences-
Exact Size, growth rates, prices, temperment.... Although i haven't ever had a pervian i have many other locality specific boas and they all tend to be a little more "jumpy" but like all animals everyone of them have different temperments...

Good luck with your final decision!
Let us know
Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind
