feeding garters toads?

username854 May 02, 2005 12:31 AM

im pretty sure they can eat toads, but not 100 percent so i thought i would check. i know toads have poison glands and im not sure if the garters are immune to it or not.

It is my understanding that toads are usually loaded with parasites and such. Probably not the best choice for a captive garter. Duffy
