Hi,

I just got two clutches of ball eggs without trying..

do you think the clutch on the left side has a chance of hatching?

thanks
Alexander

I am new to breeding, and have not bred yet...but to me it looks like no.
Then again, I could be seriously underestimating the toughness of the embryos.

Someone prove me wrong.

Possibly. They look wet. I have found the no substrate method difficult to "dial in". I suggest you get the eggs on the left on vermiculite immediately. Vermiculite is a bit more lenient with mistakes.

hi,

thanks for your opinons.

the deal is that they are not wet at all. not one drop of water has hit theme.
I found theme about 24 hours after they where laid, so they were dry at that time.

I did not have a incubator sett up as I did not expect any eggs at all from anything. So I put the eggs in a container with perlite at 31,5C or 90F. and had incubator up the next day.
So Im just waiting it out.

the down side is that I found mould on theme today.. so I think is down the drain..

best regards
Alexander
