Is this common? (question about the tail)

reamk924 May 02, 2005 10:52 AM

I was cleaning Keoki's (my juvie iguana) cage. He was shedding and I knew I shouldn't have bothered him but his cage needed cleaning. He tried to pop me with his tail and the very tip popped off. Is this a common occurence for the tip to pop off so easily? It was regenerated before so it wasn't very durable as it was.

It is common for the tip to break off. It probably will grow back but may only be one color.
