Shipping from Daytona show?

BobS May 02, 2005 11:33 AM

If you fly down to the Daytona show, buy several must haves, How do you ship them back safe and sound?

Any vendors down there at the show that offer that as a paid service? Thanks for any input. Would like to do this on the up and up. Bob.

I am sure if you paid for shipping up front that most vendors would send the snakes to you after they got home. The snakes will go through quite a bit more stress traveling back and forth though. I would think sending them off yourself would be a lot better for the snakes.

how do venders who fly in ,carry their inventory? Chris

Vendors use air cargo. There are airlines that do not require you to have "known shipper" status besides Delta.

Rainer,

Brandon Osborne told me that you have an exceptional quality Axanthic that looks unlike any other that he has ever seen. If you know which one he is refering to, would you be so kind as to post a pic?

Many thanks!

He must mean my New England (NE) strain brooksi. I have been working with them for a number of years.

one of my original breeders:

One of the NE offspring from the one above next to a BHB strain axanthic brooksi to show different lines of axanthism. Both of these are allelic and when bred together will produce 100%axanthics. Just not as nice as the NE strain! :

I think thats a bit of an extreme comparison pic. BHB has Lemke Axanthics and they arent all that dark. I will agree though the NE are better lookin' IMHO.

You are right Keith. That is an extreme comparison. Matter of fact Brandon Osborne has a line of Lemkes that are just georgeous. Thats what out breeding will do.
