Tiger eggs

TomD May 16, 2003 07:48 PM

You know just when most things in your life are going bad something good happens. Well this is the year for my tigers. I have accumulated 4.4 spilotes in four different color patterns and they are now all big enuf to breed. So far I have had eggs from three females and I am watching the last girl eagerly. If you want to see the adults please click the tiger rat link on my web page.
But there is one problem. the Mexican tigers only layed two eggs and the last good one is developing mold. The expert at Gourmet Rodent that I know recommended Lotramin athletes foot powder but this only comes in aerisol now. Does anyone have another idea, or a source for regular antifungal powder?

The Fort Worth zoo has a pair of Mex. Tigers on display. It was the first time I'd ever seen the ssp., and they are the prettiest, coolest snake I'd ever seen. Still are one of my top faves.
Both of theirs are male, though. They may be looking to buy or trade for a female.
Best of luck with your eggs.
Nice collection, btw.
