how to tell babies apart....

im getting a baby leo on thursday.i want to get a carrot tail.is there any way to tell if the baby isa a carrot tail?

On most leo babies, it very hard to tell if they will develop a carrot tail. The orange usually comes in after a few months. There are exceptions....but those guys cost $$$$!

your best bet is to check out some of the websites in here and buy a sub-adult that is already showing its colors.

I got my carrottail from petco as a hatchling, not more than a few weeks old. I had no idea it would be a carrottail since it was entirely black and yellow. Thats the fun part of raising them when they're young. Unless you know the breeder, you won't know what it will look like until it grows older.
