I'm reaching in the Kiana's enclosure to scoop up a fresh pile and she's looking at me kind of shady like so I suspect somethings up. She immediately runs down off her basking spot, across the enclosure floor, tramples through her big steaming pile and right up my arm, smearing green and white beardie excrement and wet bran up to my elbow. Nice! Sorta like I've been tarred and feathered, only different.
gee, my guy is still young - is this what I have to look forward to??

Beardies are smarter than most people realize. You'd swear they're planning something, even if it's just to get attention. They also recognize their caretakers quite easily and have a knack for mischef, especially when they want something specific, like outside of their tank, their next meal, etc. They are a trip-and-a-half to take care of!!!!
