A few pics of young 2005 babies

Mystical-Dragons May 02, 2005 04:38 PM

These are a few pics of some of the dragons that have hatched within the last 4 weeks.

These babies are just a few hours old right now. This clutch started to hatch yesterday, and most have hatched. Waiting on a few more who just broke through their eggs. I'm very excited about these babies!! Last year I produced some beautiful orange dragons, but not one of them came out of the egg with the color these guys have.. This is a cross between my Chris Allen red Myah, and a male named sobek I hatched out of my Foster Candy breeding.

These dragons are just about 3 weeks of age, and they just started shedding this week. These are from a breeding of my largest female Anna Nicole (Red-Gold German Giant) crossed to a very beautifully colored male I purchased from Kakadu.

Hope you enjoyed the pics

They are so precious Matthew. I love the last photo you posted ... those two babies look like they are hugging. Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see what they look like in a few weeks!

By the way, Stevie is doing great! He's huge! 300 grams and 17 inches long!!!

And I wouldn't expect any less. You have taken time and put forth effort to obtain quality animals and it shows. Congratulations, they are precious.

Those are beautiful! Are you selling them and if so, when will they be available and for how much? I'm in the market for another beardie! Thanks!

Emily

Thanks for your interest Emily, but to answer your questions here would be against kingsnakes terms of service as the forum can not be used for sales purposes. I'd be happy to answer any questions off forum through private email Vangogh79@aol.com. I as well will be posted ads in the appropriate classified section as they become available. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics

Thanks everyone glad you enjoyed the pics. I was very excited this morning watching these guys hatch out that I had to share a few pics with you all. I've been thinking about doing a cross like this since I first acquired Myah from Chris Allen. I always wondered and was really interested in seeing what crossing two of Chris's best lines (Flame orange) and (Scar Red) would produce, not to mention the addition of my Candy's genetics from last seasons male Sobek the father of these offspring. They are everything I thought they'd be and I'm extremely pleased with them.

Thanks so much Randy, and congratulations on your hatchlings as well. I'm sure they are beautiful It sure was like Christmas yesterday. It is every time I'm blessed with another hatchling. You know just as well as i do how much time, and effort goes into doing this properly. It's a lot of work, but the joy it is to see healthy babies hatching out from parents you raised up from babies makes it all worth the time, and work. Now comes the expensive part of feeding the babies, and getting them nice and fattened up for sale. I'm already going through crickets by the thousand here already, and it just has begun. Good luck with your hatchlings Randy, and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
