He has some awesome coloring though...He will be a great looking lizard when he fattens up some...nice yellow head/blue throat!

yeah i know but a pinky a day does the trick really well,i had a wc adult female who was skinnier than him and after 3wks of pinkies she was muscle bound like no other!Also i noticed that when there that emaciated like that they seem to go off the crix but once there fattened up a little though they eat like little horses,well spotted john and thanks

time getting them to eat pinkies. I wasn't trying to be critical. I knew the lizard is being well taken care of, and will look awesome soon. That is what I was trying to say.

i just thought i'd share my method of fattening the little blighter's.I hear yah on the dificulty stakes mate,none of mine will "eat pinkies" but i find a gentle grasp behind the head of the collared and it's body supported in your hand you can gently open their mouths(i'm stressing gently here!)if you tilt their heads right back they usually are quite easy to open,Here's the gory bit,squeeze the pinkies head until it oozes a bit and then drip it into their mouth's after that place the pinkie in their mouths and then let the collared go,i find that they will swallow after that.
just thought i'd share my method of fattening up incase any-one is wondering.

piccys yourself!I was just faffing around with the cam using all the different settings and this was the result,oh and also you suggested that i take pics against a white backdrop,well this was the only place they would still long enough to be snapped.Again ta very much for the nicey nicey!
