NEWT WONT EAT!

namcap May 02, 2005 08:20 PM

Hi, I have a taricha torosa newt that I got a few days ago, however it doesnt seem to move much during daytime and I havent seen it eat anything. Btw, I have tadpoles for it and newt pellets. I'm going to get earthworms right now. Do they usually act like this? Even if i touch it, it doesnt seem to walk around. Thanks.

It is probably very stressed right now. Just don't touch it as often as you do, avoiding touching it at all if possible. Newts hate to be touched by humans. By the way, how did the earthworms work? Crickets may also work for them.
