Please help, eye problem...

DancingBunny18 May 02, 2005 09:35 PM

Hello,
I have had my uro for a few months, and it appears that he has scratched his eye on something... It was really bad at first, i took it to a vet, they said just to keep it clean/get him off sand, and put polysporin on it... I have been doing that a couple times a day. Today I noticed for the first time since it happened that he has opened his eye. It was all white... What i want to know is, is there something else i can be doing to help him, as well do you think that the white means anything... like he is blind, or it is just mucus... anything.. i feel bad for the little guy..

Thanks for the help in advance...

P.S - There is only one reptile vet where i live, and they have never seen a uro before, so if my vet is wrong, please let me know.. THANX
