T Snow ball, possibility >?

DevonCartier May 02, 2005 09:44 PM

I am wondering I was pondering interesting ball python mixes and the first thing that came into my mind was,

Carmel Albino (Xanthic) x Axanthic
, or even
Carmel Albino x Red Axanthic

I would think that you would end up with a T snow ball, but does anyone have any idea what that might look like? I am surprised know body has tried of it before. And yes I realize that you would get hets, but I am talking an animal displaying both traits not the actual offspring of the first cross.

I'd expect an axanthic caramel albino to be shades of pale gray. And I think T-pos snow is a horrible name. Dusky snow, faded glory, or even white smoke are a lot sexier.

Lol, I am sure there are dozens of better names for it then a T snow, I wasn’t out to name it, just looking for opinions of what it would look like, and if anyone would be working with them. To me, I was thinking around the same appearance as you. A Grey/lavender "Smokey" ball python. I think it would be an amazing animal, Very different then all the other morph people are working with right now.

Snake Keeper is working on the project. They had hets for sale this year for a brief period. I'm sure it'll prove out by 2006. And for your info, the name "white smoke" has already been taken by NERDs animal that founded their codominant line of coral albinos.

Until this double homo mutation can be seen and named, they are known as Caramel Snow!

I would think a white and shades of purple/lavender snake! I know of a trio that are being raised to breed in 06. At 1 in 16 shot of producing one, might be a while before we see a purple rain....
