Ok... I finaly did it.....................

BIG DONNIE BRASC May 02, 2005 11:29 PM

I pulled my females out of their VERY roomy enclosure and "stuffed" them into a 30 gallon tank so I will stop finding raisin eggs!
I hope they lay soon, I feel bad having them in an aquarium when they are so used to much more room!
I don't get it though..... I have found 2 eggs, that looked a few days old, but all my females still look FAT! "Go figure".

So, I SHOULD have some knock-out high filutin fancy a$$ "lemon headed flaming baby aqua stars" or something like that....PERTY LIZARDS!!!

Proud papa to be.....

ha ha don't forget he could still have some unexpected children out there. gertie's eggs are at 44 days so if they hatch with yellow heads, i will tell you to tell bone crusher he is a daddy sooner than he thought

when you see some digging, dampen the entire area with sand...She may be pissed at you and decide to surface scatter them everywhere! Good luck!

when they toss em all over , ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I only had one that did that. But happened at night and by morning I had a tank of dried, trampled eggs.

Now I dampen different places all around, other than the acual nest.

three but two of them are abnormally larger than her third and all of ivan's. walter is not a big guy so i can't think of why those two would be so large

I'm sure those kids will be BRIGHT and BEAUTIFUL !

I think also it was quite wise of you to put the girls in something smaller and more manageable.

You have to be able to get them easily, the sand has to be kept damp, have to keep checking on them as they lay. That would have been too darn difficult in the large enclosure.

So that was a good move. Hope ya get some nice eggs now!

well ivan looks alot like jazz and walter is in the picture below, so if yellow starts to develop on their heads, then they are not walter's!

I like Walter's color a lot. His picture makes me nostalgic for my very fisrt collared named Sidney. He looks just like him.
