I am in Colorado Springs
There is a good vet, who is actually my vet, his name is Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald at Alameda East Vet Hospital. You may have seen him on Emergency Vets on Animal Planet. There's also a Dr. Gary Rechten at Church Ranch Veterinary Wellness Center, and Mesa Veterinary Hospital in Golden also sees reptiles. I realize these are pretty long drives for you, but I've heard good things about each of them.
Another place to check out is ARAV.org, I believe there are a couple in the Colorado Springs area. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the info it is much appreciated!

In addition to www.arav.com, also go to one of it's links, herpvetconnect.
Another very good way is to ask local vet clinics who they refer there reptile cases too. All methods are hit and miss though as you don't have to be a "specialist" or even very experienced to be found by any of these three methods.
Being an ARAV member though does ensure that the DVM is at least exposed to reptile continueing education.
I go to Dr Fitzgerald in Aurora..Contact me sometime, I live in Monument..
