well i just looked in on the eggs and one of them is starting to get a dark spot with little tiny beads of sweat on it. perhaps ivan's meanness is stemming from her anticipation of being a mother. maybe in the morning i will have a little one waiting for me. god i hope so, i have been torturing you all for over a year about this

the sweating is usually good, and happens before he hatches, the egg will start to cave in, around him , and if all goes well you will so a magnificient little miracle right before your very eyes, his head will appear,

Oh its so cool, ya can't stop watching, sometimes they can take all day to get out of thir eggie world and enter into ours, LOL

I'll be thinking of you and wishing the best,

there really has not been any change from last night, although the egg is still sweating. as soon as that little booger pops out you all will know. the only thing that sucks is that i have classes from 2-7 so i might miss the actual birth.
ok now that they are on their way, what do i do to ensure they stay healthy. is calcium and vitamins everyday or calcium everyday and vitamins every other day? i have never had a baby, i always have bought mine as full grown

as far as calcium, dust their buggies EVERDAY even when juveys. Adults its usually 2- 3 times per week.

As far as vitimins have to ask someone else, I do not use them. always afraid of over- dosing .

I try and feed the crickets super well, with alot of variety so they can obtain vitimins naturally.

So someone who uses them can answer that part of your question.

Let us know

oh i wish i could forget the classes! but i have two big projects to turn in, one for each class. however, i think he is still in his first stage so maybe i won't miss it.
the little guy/girl already has a name. lucia for a girl or lucio for a boy. yesterday my friend's grandmother passed away and she was the cutest little italian woman, nonna lucia. i have known her for 19 years. she was kind of an icon in my hometown, if you ever ate at their italian restaurant she was always in there talking to the tables and dancing the tarantella. she was one month shy of her 91st birthday. it may seem weird to some people but all my friends know it is a high honor to have one of my lizards named after you

Well, I don't feel particularly abused, but I do hope you're a new mom real soon!
