This is my two year old male blackthroat. I've had him, and the female for about a year and a half now. They're a little bit wild, but as you can see still somewhat manageable. They can be a lot of fun if you stay patient with them, and learn how to work with them.

Hey BRG,
things have been really good. I was in London for two months, and left my monitors in my mother's care. She did a really great job, and fed them more than I would have. They looked very good when I got back, but needed a bath bad. wheeeew
thanks for the post,
steve

Dude sweet Black Throat Monitor! He looks absolutely bad ass!
She came through the operation great and had 2.5 lbs of eggs removed (thats after 3 weeks or more of reabsorbing them). They had to flush her abdomen because one egg near the end of removal broke open. She has some (not alot from the vets point of view) fat in her liver from mobilizing her fat stores when she stopped eating but none the less she will be on a diet that consists of smaller meals closer together to help prevent that after she gets home and starts eating for me. Shes now down to 15lbs and so many ounces. They said there were a load of many eggs in her. Ill find out how many tomorrow.
