I finally saw Rana shed this weekend and boy was she quick!! She started to show flakes about 8am and by noon there was skin all over her cage and she was bright and pretty with NO flakes left!! None of my chams have ever shed so fast. Stitch takes 2-3 days and it's never a complete shed it's a few flakes here or there, but she did her whole body in under 4 hours!!! She was like the Incredible Hulkess.

when I had my leaf chams they would shed in the blink of an eye! How old is Rana? They look so bright after a shed. I remember when Luna first got her blue and salmon colors - pretty!

Is Colorado south?? Huh, maybe I just spent too much time with the cows on our ranch, yup that's probably it!! Actually when I was a senior in high school, I went to Texas for the summer and came back with the worst accent ever and I've managed to shake it off excpet Y'all!!! I can't help it!

Well little Miss Rana is 5 months old and growing like a weed!! I can't believe how fast she shed and she was all bright and shinny when she was done!! She looks a lot like her dad.

How is Luna?? Hopefully she's hanging in there and the vet can give you some better answers!

I lived in FL for a few years and when I came back to NY I was talking with someone and used the phrase "Hot Damn!" yikes! Stopped that nonsense right then and there!

IS Rana showing her blue yet?

Luna and I go to the vet on Thursday for Calcium check. She got 2 showers today and yesterday! She just loves it. I think she gets mad when I take her out but the water won't stay hot for more than about 20 minutes...that's why she is insisting on twice a day now

I just got poked fun at and eventually I came back to reality!

Hey if Luna wants 2 showers a day, then by golly let her have em!!! I hope your vet can figure it out!! She can sure use a break of good health!

Rana has not shown any blue at all, just an intense yellow and a glowing green, I'm kinda nervous for her to start showing blue, that means she is not a baby anymore and the rules of the game change! She has a small attitude, but she gets over it real quick. I've been sneaking out of work early this week to let her and Stitch have some outside time and they both love it! She is actually alot calmer outside then she is inside. Inside she tears around her cage and is all over, but when I put her outside she just finds a nice branch and chills out. I tried to put her in her big girls cage this weekend and that didn't go to well( she turned very dark and would not eat or move from one of the branches, so I put her back in her 22 gallon for now. I'll try again in a few weeks.

Wait until you live within half an hour to towns called Hicksville, Farmer, and Ney (as in "neigh"... the term y'all becomes a way of life...
I live next to all of these... it's scarring to say the least...
