Bipass sliding doors

biig_worm May 03, 2005 01:18 PM

I remember seeing a post about bipass sliding doors that had a lock on them so that a large snake could not push the doors out of the track. I am building a water dragon enclosure and want to build sliding glass doors ca 3.5 ft x 4-5 ft, that is why I wanted to use the doors with rollers. I would appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of the link or where I could find the parts. Any other suggestions are also appreciated.

I'm sure that message would have been posted by Alan Hall from Jungle Habitats... aka cheapcages.com

Sorry I can't help more, but maybe that will help with kingsnake's search function.

Good luck.

I had posted some items some time back on a few different door lock options and tracks for sliding doors.

As for the lock im not sure it was so much the "lock" as it is the track that keeps the doors from being pushed out . I use on occasion a "anti-lift" aluminum extrusion track system this keeps the doors from being "lifted out" or pushed out by large boids or real nosey lizards. Right now my email is in a complete shambles , I was doing the NC show ( it SUCKED) lol and got a email worm over the weekend. but if you wanna contact me try calling me at the numbers listed on my site ill either answer or call you back and help you out on what ya need.
Alan

PS dont bother here my contact #'s 828-584-6769 or 828-201-7130 call me anytime but past 10 pm est lol
