Dwarf burmese, and their future.

superbowl May 03, 2005 08:04 PM

I would like any and all opinions on the dwarf burmese pythons. I'm not a big fan of the "larger" pythons, but these things are great. Where do y'all see the future of these snakes going?

Albino dwarves?
Lav Albinos?
Green dwarves?

What?

Hi,

Well me personally, I dont see why they couldnt have different morphs the same as any regular size burms. However, of course you will have to keep in mind that just the same has current morphs, they will continue to jump the price. I guess it will all depend on how popular they get with their current status.

Just my opinion.

The future is so exciting in regards to burmese. Not many know of all the new morphs being worked with. These have already begun to be bred into dwarves. Not too far into the future you will see white dwarves, along with other new morphs, including a solid lavender purple patternless dwarf. All the common morphs are being bred into already also.

There is also at least one pure 100% dwarf morph. Thats not crossed from the bigger species.

In as little as 3 years we will start seeing morphs on the market that stay as small as dwarves.

These will give investment alternatives to ball pythons which are starting to get old, everyone has the same morphs, excluding a very few of the rare morphs. These Burmese will stay a similar size and lay MORE eggs. Return on investment will be able to be remade faster. But the market won’t crash fast because it takes time to breed these morphs back down to dwarf size again, not a short process. Other than the money, these are just very cool animals.

Being on the front lines of these new developments is very exciting and I will update you when things are ready to go public.
