I live in VA and searched the internet for petsitters. Most of them are just for dogs, cats, and fish but I convinced one to take care of my beardie. Great deal for her, she just comes ove ronce a day, feeds him and cleans his poop. His lights are on timers. I have done this for three trips now with no problems at all.
I live in Richmond, VA, and Noah's Pets here will petsit any and all types of herps for $4 a day. They bathe lizards 2-3 times a week, mist them daily, and feed them continuously. They keep a low-humidity, high-heat room with very adequate lighting for just such a purpose, and are great for this type of stuff. If there are any herp stores around, check to see if they offer petsitting services.
You can also get a neighbor to do it, which will reduce the stress on your beardie (doesn't have to leave the familiarity of his enclosure), and it will cost considerably less. Since beardies are easy enough to keep for herpers, a few days with a next-door neighbor would be a breeze.
