no baby yet but

jeune18 May 03, 2005 09:06 PM

i came home from classes and two others have started sweating and denting. the original egg looks like the sweating has slowed but there is no denting and the dark spot is a little bigger. is that strange? should i be worried? one of them had better come out soon or i am going to explode

I would stare at the eggs a lot when they started to shink up...you will often see little marks where the babies are trying to poke free. If you watch closely, you will sometimes see sudden movments in the eggs prior to hatching.

even though it seems like there is no change? but i do think the original eggs is starting to get a little denty. i was hoping to wake up this morning to little babies.
i have been staring at the eggs and i am not sure if it is movement or me seeing things from staring too long

They will often stay in the egg for several hours, with just their heads or nosing pipping out...it is really cute. Don't be shocked when they gape their mouths and try to bite at you while they are still in the egg LOL. I am pretty scary, so it may just be me. I'm sure Eve will agree. They can be pretty scared of us when they first hatch. Try not to stress them too much. Within 8 weeks, they are pretty well ajusted and eating. And WOW, they grow fast!
