Tiny needs help!!!

debs1018 May 04, 2005 11:52 AM

Today when I went to feed Tiny everything looked normal. An hour or so later he was in the same spot(usually he is under his basking light by then). Took kids to school and he was hiding in his sleep spot(dark and cool). Took him out and he spazzed out. Gave him a warm bath and he was to calm, and just passed gas but no stool.(kind of early for him). Took him outside and he seems to not see well or even can't see. What do you think is wrong? Going to take to vet if this doesn't clear up. He is shedding on his head but that never did anything before. PLEASE HELP if you can. Oh he also stays in the same position when you place him down.
Thanks in advance

Thanks Brandy Took Tiny to the vet and he said he has a lot of Giardia and other parasites and this could be the cause of him not eating and hiding. He also said that he does has vision and his color is just outstanding. I hope he is right. He is not the regular vet because he was in surgery but he does see exotic including igs. Time will tell. Tiny did gain a hell of a lot of weight. He is 900 grams and in Jan. he was 73 grams and in breeeding season (not eating). I will keep everyone posted and thank you for the input.

thank you Brandy. So far he is not eating well at all and is acting like he did in season. He does look good again so I have to wait until those little parasites are gone.
