Tri Colored Hognose...

SRX May 04, 2005 03:53 PM

I am curious as to the behaviour and temperment of Tri Colored Hogs? Are they an outgoing, inquisitive species like the Western Hogs, or are they more reclusive like the Mandarin Ratsnakes? Westerns are a true joy to work and interact with, but I have never been around Tri Colors in person. Any anecdotes or feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Scott

much like westerns, some are a bit skidish and some are more aggressive. they do much more tail rattling then hissing but are easily handled and are my favorite choice of hognose, and I have breed lots of westerns as well as albino westerns and some easterns, but the easiest to breed are the tri-hogs. hope this helps you.
