These 20 month old double het for Hybino South Florida Kings m#92 and f#94 hatched 9/8/03, they are first time breeders on 5/2/05. They are offspring from a Hypo X Snow.

I'd be interested in a male from that Breeding... doesn't have to be a morph... i have a 2x het hybino female from isis reptiles, i'd like to find a mate that was lavender het hypo, hypo het lavender or just another 2x het please let me know when those eggs hatch (you can contact me via email)

Thanx

Tim,
What exactly would a "hybino" Brooksi look like from that pairing?
Would they be albino, but also be double homozygous without actually showing hypomelanism, or what?
Just interested what a hybino Floridana looks like?
Thanks in advance,
John Lassiter

What a hybino looks like is unseen to me. This is my first year breeding the double hets,Hypo X Snow and Hypo X lavender Albino. All I work with is South Florida Kings. I haven't seen anything that is referred to as hybino south Florida kings. This is a project I started in my collection simply because it involves breeding two recessive traits togather. My results should show this year. It is exciting to me and I'm sure other breeders have done the same. If so I would appreciate hearing of their results.

Tim-
I am glad to see that you got double hets for this project. In 1999 I tried pairing a lav albino to a hypo. I did not get good results - a clutch of deformed hatchlings, ugh. Since it wasn't the only clutch in my incubator ( all others did well) I had thought at the time that the genes were somehow too closely linked or had some sort of deleterious effect when paired together. Haven't thought much about it since. Glad to see I was wrong(as you got 2x hets). I am quite interested in seeing the offspring. Keep us informed.
