What type of Albino . . . ? New Geckos . . . yea, I know . . .

MajesticRose May 04, 2005 06:48 PM

I'm a junkie!!! I couldn't resist. One of my associate's roommates had them since they were babies and decided that he wanted Beardies instead. They were both supposedly males, so he had them in a 55 gallon with a divider. However, one is a she . . .

Thor and Cosmo.

Now I know that Cosmo (the girl) is a normal . . . nothing special, but I don't know what type of Albino Thor is . . . Looks like a Bells . . .

Then again, I'm not totally definate that Lyle's a Bell's either . . .

What do you guys think??

Lyle looks really cool, but for heavens sake can you get him off newsprint?!?! There are chemicals in newspaper that are toxic to geckos and other reptiles, so Im told. Enjoy your new friends and take good care of them: paper towels, slate, sand (highly debatable). Paper towels are the safest and easiest to clean, so do yourself and your friend a favor.

They were on newspaper for just the first night I had them. My big colony is on paper towels now and the new guys are on cage carpet. I wouldn't use newspaper on a normal basis, I swear.

I thought that newpaper ink was made of a vegtable based dye now so that it wasn't toxic?
