bluebeauty habitat

Hi I am wondering If any one can help me . I am looking into getting a blue beauty. I have got some info on them but I need to no what type of habitat and size I should have.I no they are a long snake I was told 8'5 so i want to make sure they have room. I was also thinking on building a cage. My husband dose carpantry and very good at building.So what should i do. Go buy a set up or build one. I have so maney Questions setting up the lighting and heating can anyone HELP. thanks annie

By all means build the cage if your husband is a carpenter.

Regarding cage size, I have heard of Blue Beauties being kept in a variety of cages. Anywhere from large enclosures to sweater boxes.

I see you've posted this same question to Conrad on the Asian Ratsnake forum. Hopefully he and others can give you good advice on cage size. Once you have that we can help you with the specifics of caging needs so your husband can build it.
