Pushing about 350grams now. I just can't get him to eat rat pups. But doesn't have a problem downing 3 mice a week. He's the only 1 I buy mice for. Any ideas on getting him switched over? I tried leaving the pup in with the mice to scent it, but he just looked at it. Not interested at all. Thanks. Hopefully he will produce later this year.

I used to keep a cage with mice. I would not clean them as freqently as the rats - get ripe with mouse smell. Then I'd place a small rat in the cage for about 2 hours. I now have no mouse eaters. Also, use the same colors. I had a couple snakes that would only eat dark-colored rodents.

Thanks, maybe I just leave the mouse in long enough to get a good scent. I'll try longer times.
