A reputable breeder in Florida would be Mark Bell-not sure how to get in touch with him as I haven't dealt with him in several years. Jamie Quick used to work with Northerns-believe he has a web site on kingsnake.com. Florida has laws regulating residents owning Florida Pines-I believe you are only allowed to possess one normal animal. I believe morphs (albino, leucistic) are exempt-but I don't live in Florida, so don't take my word for it.
Northern Pines and Florida Pines both get (on average) larger than Black Pines or Louisiana Pines. I would rate Northerns and Floridas a toss up in terms of size-in captivity with regular feedings they both will get over 7' and potentially up to 8'.
Yes i have heard the same on keeping florida pines.I have heard of Mark Bell,Thanks-a-bunch
