Are meal worms ok to feed cresties??
I've fed them to my cresteds a few times before. I've heard they're not the easiest to digest, so I use them sparingly (spelled correctly?). Just my 2 cents.

I would not use them too fatty just spend the money on silkies, crickets or CGD.

Mealworms could very well be one of the worst feeder insects imaginable. They are slow, hard to grab up, and high in fat.
They have a very bad meat to shell ratio, high chitin in the shell (stuff in fingernails) and one of the worst calcium to phophorus ratios imaginable.
For every mg of phophorous ingested, another of calcium must be taken for them to...cancel each other out (lack of better words). If the phosphorous is higher, the body will take calcium from the body in other places (such as bones) which can result in deficiencies and other problems.
The recommened calcium to phosphorous ratio in a food item for most herps is 2Cal:1P. Mealworms have like 1:25!
