Finding Hatchlings in TX

Yertle Jul 11, 2003 02:13 PM

I have been wanting to get a second RES for quite some time now. I now live in TX (my first one I got 5 yrs. ago while living in NY) and am having a hard time finding any "sources"... whether that's a rescue, a private individual--I can't even find those creeps at flea markets that have tanks full!!! Where are all the hatchlings hiding??? I am just trying to avoid getting one shipped to me...I don't want to put one through that.

Anyway, if anybody knows of where in Texas (DFW area) you can get one, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I also live in the DFW area and I got hatchlings in april at Arbor Daze in Arlington. They had a ton there. Also you'll find them at the reptile expos here, also in Arlington. Right now I have two hatchlings (a female and male I believe) that I most likely won't be able to bring with me to college (I thought the college I was going to would allow them). So if you are interested in more than one RES hatchling email me (HeavenSnt86@hotmail.com). I'd include their setup too (a 29g with all necessary items). Hope this helps!
