found this guy in the high desert of So. Ca. took these 2 pics of this lil guy. can some please tell me for sure what kind of rattler this is.

Yep, right on. Southern Pacific all the way. I got one from the Gang Unit of L.A.S.D. last week. They consfiscated it durring a traffic stop. Weird huh?

who do you know at laso? Thats weird that they got it at a traffic stop? any details about the stop or anythign like that?

You found it in the desert? Thats kind of strange, they dont really live in the desert, but may occupy foothills or fields near the angeles forest though. Im in the high desert and I know it is quite a rare find, got to hit the hills near Lake Eliz to find them. Where about did you find it?
