that was supposed to be jumbo mice, not rats. As per thr forum, I have installed pvc burrows in my indigo and pine cages. They really love em!

What diameter pvc tubing do you use for your adults?

Carolina Herps
Paul,
I like 2" for babies and juvies and 3" for my subadults. I don't have any of breeder size yet, but the 3" would probably work for most I would think.

Just wondering, is it male or female? How many inches long do you think it is? Great looking snake - I'm extremely jealous... can't wait to have my own...
Take care,
Justin
thanks, man! I had actually called and left a message for u while down in the Glades. What happened to ya?
This male is at ~48" and growing FAST NOW. He really kicked up his feeding this spring, and I expect him to grow another 6" by the end of summer. He now waits for me when its feeding time and no longer retreats to his burrow.

Great Snake A.C. - As for the Keys Trip....
Drunken Stuper does not completely describe it... here's a favorite pic of my roommate and I on our "Choppers" - please note that the purses in the baskets belong to our "Old Ladies".
Anyway, I was too busy with friends to go up north to meet ya... though I was wondering how your herpin' was going... how was it?
P.S. That's me in the cowboy hat and the Fear and Loathing glasses...

AWESOME PIC, BRO! Herping was cool...I'll be posting a field report one of these days.
The highlights of the trip, though, were going snorkeling in Key Largo and taking a tarpon charter out of Isla Morada.
THE KEYS RULE!
Actually, I have a reliable source tell me that indies are alive and well on the Keys. He told me one spot, but we were having too much fun in the water to check it out.
