Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Biting can mean lots of things, but I wouldn't consider it normal breeding behavior. I'm not quite sure what to make of some things, you say bite and fight, yet if there was really a fight, I think you would be worried about other things than breeding at the moment. It was probably more of a discussion. I have seen males be overly assertive in wanting action, and even falling back on a nip to get the girl's attention, but I have never seen it create a positive response. The copulations I have seen seem to be a gentle thing, and typically initiated by the female. But I have seen far too little to comment further.

The sizes are close to my female and male, but has your female laid any eggs or is it just a suspected female? Has she fattened up in the weeks previous to this?

Good Luck,

PS - Please turn the caps lock off, it is annoying.
