Anyone have any experience with these snakes? Am looking for info particularly as regards brumation. Is it necessary if you don't intend to stimulate breeding? Any other general tips?
Thanks in advance !

Rich, I think brumation is necessary for various reasons, especially because they are adapted to long hibernation in the wild. First year snakes may be able to go w/o, but my second year snakes went four months at 50*F, with no problems. They feed very well after brumation, btw, whereas, would probably be difficult feeders w/o it.
More later. Off to work...

Thanks Terry, I thought that would be the case but wanted to be sure.
