I read the care sheet that you provided (thank you) and I have a question regarding hibernation. Do they have to hibernate? Do I have to lower temps.? When should I do this? What temps.? How long?

Treat me like a newbie, I am.

West...

If you don't intend on breeding the animal, hibernation (or cooling) isn't necessary....you can keep the temps (low-mid 80s on the warm end, 70s on the cool end) pretty constant....Some wild-caught crotes will go off feed in the latter part of the year anyway....(I currently have a Mojave that does this)....as long as body weight is good, this is nothing to worry about...but your snake looks young enough that if you just kept him year-round, he might not go off feed and you can keep him year round in the same conditions....
