crazy night with my little BP male

snak3l0v3r May 05, 2005 09:05 AM

Well my 1 year old male BP just finished shedding yesterday, and he shed perfectly...everything except his head. none of his shed came off his head, and I had to take it off myself, something I have never done before. This little guy was SO GOOD, I couldnt believe it. He didnt try to strike, his, or get into a defensive position once. He was flicking his tongue like a mad man though. I mist his head and would slowly work the skin off. It took me an hour, but eventually I got all the skin off his head, eyelids, and nose. Never did I think I would have a snake that let me touch the skin next to his eye, run his nose, or the top of his head. I tell you what, it was a bonding experience! He seemed so happy when I finally got it off too. I will reward him tonight by moving him up to my now emtpy 40g long, an nice upgrade from the 20g long.
