I went down to check on the two eggs and one of them has shrunk considerably while the other remains normal. the shrunken is not dented or collapsing but has definitly decreased in size. Is this a sign that hatching time is approaching??? Thanks in advance!!!

Not to worry you... but that can mean two things.
1) The egg is about to hatch
2) The egg has died and is finally "caving" in
I have had infertile eggs not collapse for over 60 days, they looked like perfect eggs, but when candled they was no development.
I have also had still born babies... they go almost full term, then die for whatever reason. These eggs look good the whole incubation period but never hatch.
But like I said, no need to worry, whatever is going to happen will happen. I wish you the best of luck.

I have never really seen one shrink before hatching. Have seen them dent like they were colapsing,sweat and swell freakishly big but never shrink. It is either going bad or going to hatch very soon though I gaurantee that. A dramatic size change always means something.
