Scientific snout study....................

BIG DONNIE BRASC May 05, 2005 01:52 PM

Ok, well, NOT "scientific" per se'
Well, not scientific AT ALL.... but don't you all find the differing snout lengths interesting.
Not comparing vestigium to Collaris or anything like that.

PS... I hope you all don't mind me using your pictures.

it must be a regional trait i would think. also, the pic you have of ANGUS doesn't show it , but he has a very wide head in comparison to other males i have with longer pointier snouts.

i am really interested in these traits and to see if they are reccessive, i hope to learn something about dot patterns as well to produce babies with great patterns.

I look at all three of mine's snouts. Ezra and Cory have short snouts with wider heads. Annabella has pointy snout with a more narrow head.

I like how all the Collared lizards have different spots.

I wonder how much black Cory is getting especially with that third collar development. He has splotches instead of spots with light orange bands inbetween.
